Tired of wondering if you could do it yourself? You can, and we can teach you how to do it right. Take a look at the list of repair classes we offer and the dates they are offered. If you don’t see something your interested in give us a call and we’ll see what we can do. It is worth noting that the cost of each class is less than having the labor performed by a professional mechanic, and you will have the knowledge to take with you. |

Focused Repair classes. |

Drivetrain Class. On going though out the year. $50.00 Limited to four people. Bring your bike, an apron and any tools you have (not necessary). Remove and install cranks, chain and cassette. Learn cable lube and install. Sizing of new chain and cable housing. Also adjusting of front and rear derailleur. Recommended taking before bearing class. |

Bearing Class. On going though out the year.
Limited to four people. Bring your bike, an apron and any tools you have (not necessary). This overhaul class will cover maintenance of bearings in hubs, bottom brackets and headsets. Due to the increasing use of "sealed bearings" there will be only minor disassembly of some bearings. In these cases, the dust shield of the sealed bearing can be removed and grease can be added. Front and rear hubs will be disassembled cleaned and lubricated reassembled and adjusted. Headsets will be disassembled and cleaned, re-lubed, assembled and adjusted. Bottom brackets are addressed by removing crank arms, bottom bracket cups, cleaning, lubing and reinstalling. |

Brake, wheel truing and shifting class. On going through out year.
Limited to four people. For the person looking to tune there wheels, brakes and derailleur. Truing of wheels laterally, radial, spoke tension and dish. Adjusting brakes, from pad alignment to brake cable sizing and replacement. Learn high and low limit screws, cable tension and indexing. |

Flat Repair Class. On going though out the year.
Unlimited number of people. Bring your bike, Rags (some like rubber gloves) and your on road repair kit. Time: 3 Hours Flat Repair clinic includes such topics as: · Removal and Install of wheels. · Removal and replacement of tire and inner tube and proper positioning of the tire and tube on wheel. · Causes of flats. Pinch, cuts and rim strip. · Bike inspection and cleaning. Things that knock and get Lubricated · On-Road Repairs. Minor wheel true, index adjust and brake centering. |
Suspension Fork Overhaul Class. Class held once a year or on demand.$55.00 Four persons only. Did you know that most fork company's request that the oil in forks be changed at or around 50 hours of use. So, if your fork is sticky, not smooth like it was when it was new, your ready for an oil change. When the oil or lube goes bad the internal seals start to ware, costing you even more. I here of people looking for new forks when all that was needed was replacement of damper and station oil. $15.00 dollars in oil. Time: 3 Hours Suspension Fork Overhaul clinic includes such topics as: · Find were to get instruction for your fork. Forks don't need full overhauls they need the oils changed. · Removal of lower leg assembly clean and reinstall with new oil. · Damper oil change. · Proper volume and weight of oil for your fork. Additional cost for oils and lubricants. The fork must be inspected prior to class some material will be on hand for the class.
