Suspension service is a specialty within bicycle repair, and it takes specialized tools to perform this work. One of the things that any factory tech will tell you is nice to have are sockets specifically made or altered for the low profile hex on the top of each fork leg. The lead-in or chamfer on a standard socket will greatly decrease the contact between tool and part and can easily scratch or deform those nuts. For years shops have been grinding down their sockets to remove the chamfer. The problem is that you're still often left with a loose-fitting socket that is still prone to chewing up those delicate parts. That's why we started from scratch. We made our sockets from billet aluminum to exacting tolerances to keep these parts in good shape. Fully CNC-machined with zero lead-in, they make the specialty that is suspension service a little bit easier. They feature a 3/8" square drive for use with your favorite torque wrench as well as finger splines to help run the top caps into the fork legs with those oil soaked hands. Bearing drift designed for the SRAM DUB crank platform and use with the Abbey Bike Tools Modular bearing press. SRAM recently launched a new crank platform called DUB to improve bearing durability and compatibility that modern frames have dictated. This 28.99mm spindle and its press fit bottom bracket requires some special drifts to install correctly. We worked with the crew at SRAM to develop tools for this and came up with some simple and important tweaks from a standard bearing drift. These drifts have a tapered boss that forces the small O ring into its gland. A normal drift with a square boss can easily tear the fragile O ring that helps with bearing durability. So this basic modification makes sure your bottom bracket retains the durability it was designed to have. - Comes as a set of two drifts

Coming in at roughly 265 grams, the Team Issue Titanium Hammer is a big weight savings over more traditional hammers. The soft face is replaceable with commonly available 1" threaded faces. This dishing gauge is fully machined from big billets of aluminum to a final shape and accuracy that's as nice to use as it is to look at. Compatible with wheels from 20-29 inches and all hub combinations. Standoff feet are included for checking dish with the tire in place, even the big fat ones. The gauge uses a unique spring-loaded mechanism to drop the plunger. Press that little brass button on the front and the plunger will drop to the face of the hub. No archaic time-sucking threaded indicators here!

The Micro Modular Bearing Press is designed with smaller hub and suspension bearings in mind. With drifts to service bearings with an inside diameter of 13 millimeters and smaller, this is a great choice for those smaller, more delicate bearings. The press head features a true thrust bearing; this unique feature keeps the press action super smooth and cuts down on the effort required. The thrust bearing isolates all of the torque from the compression, which allows your bearing to go in square. It works so well that you don't need even need handles. The press head has a 6mm hex in the top of the press head so you can use it as a bail out gear in case you find something that is fitting excessively tight.
